As someone who grew up reading my uncle's old superhero comics of the 1950s and 60s at my grandmother's house, I have to say that this is simultaneously the most awesome and the most horrifying thing I've ever seen. By the way, have you read Micheal Chabon's The Amazing Adventures of Cavalier and Clay, which is a novel set during the Golden Age of comics prior to WWII?
