For a governor who maynever run again for anything, Rick Perry of Texas appears ready to hit the campaign trail next year -- for any Republican anywhere."I may not be on the ballot," Perry said in a warmly received speech at the California Republican Party's state convention Sept. 7, "but I will campaign next year like I am, in Texas, in California and anywhere else I can spread the word."
are we (taxpayers of Texas) paying for this useless pantload to parade around the world as an advertisment for how inadequately Texas funds its public schools system?

That concept, common to many conservative Republicans - and applicable to every last one of the Republican presidential candidates - leads them to somehow conclude that people actually value them as leaders and listen to what they have to say. In simpler words, they are delusional.
