I've blogged before about Bexar County DA Susan Reed's obstinateness regarding the pilot needle exchange program that was passed by the Legislature this past spring. I'm pleased to report that State Sen. Jeff Wentworth (R, San Antonio) has asked AG Greg Abbott for an opinion about whether the participants in this program can be prosecuted as Reed has vowed to do.
