Cato supports Richard Garcia

Shirley Cato, the widow of former Harris County Treasurer Jack Cato, that is. She wrote a check for $250 to Richard Garcia‘s campaign. You can see it here. Just so you know.

    I actually had a chance to meet Richard Garcia yesterday afternoon when I stopped by the early voting location on West Gray to vote. I got a kick out of the fact that he was explaining to people that he was “the actual candidate”, as opposed to the usual volunteer found campaigning for candidates outside of polling centers.

    Souperman – Hadn’t noticed till you mentioned it. I can only suppose it’s an error. FYI, Garcia ran against Jack Cato in 2002. I’ll ask Richard when I see him next.
