Dynamo Stadium coming along

A very brief update from the Chron:

Tim Leiweke, the president of Dynamo co-owner AEG, told the Chronicle that the Dynamo’s negotiations for a new stadium are completed for the most part and that he expects to break ground at the end of the year for the East End stadium scheduled to open in June 2012.

For all the time it took to get to this point, they deserve to have smooth negotiations and hassle-free construction.

One Response to Dynamo Stadium coming along

Another fantastic article by the nation’s largest metropolitan daily newspaper to never have won the Pulitzer Prize. 109 years and still streaking!

You’d think there might more than a couple column inches devoted to some more information on the city’s soon-to-be fourth professional sports facility than this couple of fluffy comments. Great work by Ortiz. Very insightful.
