I continue to be amazed at how many of these songs are covers of versions I’d never heard of, usually by an artist I’d never heard of. Add this one to that pile. Here’s the Hollies version, which is anything but obscure.
I have to say, I’ve really enjoyed finding all these live performances on YouTube. Most of these oldies-era songs I know only as a tune on the radio. As often as not, I have no idea what the artists looked like. It’s nice to see them in their prime doing what they do best. The Hollies certainly knock this one out of the park. What do you think?
