#TrumpTruckTweet

I love this.

Deep in the heart of Texas, a billboard truck will soon hit the road with a curated list of President Donald Trump’s tweets — attacks on Sen. Ted Cruz, a former political foe.

Trump popularized the term “Lyin’ Ted” in 2016. But it’s 2018 now, and Democratic voter mobilization and an unlikely challenger have mounted an improbable campaign for a reliably Republican seat.

Trump said an October rally is in the works to lend Cruz support. “I’m picking the biggest stadium in Texas we can find,” Trump said Friday on Twitter.

“Help from the president was long unthinkable in a race that for months looked like a Cruz cakewalk,” the Associated Press reported.

Antonio Arellano, a Houston-based activist and Latino community organizer, thought fellow Texans may need a reminder of how Trump has suggested they vote when Cruz is on the ballot.

He was already in the market for a billboard when he tweeted a doctored image carrying a real Trump tweet from 2016.

[…]

Arellano said the actual billboard will be a mobile truck with two sides, and could carry two different tweets at once, one on each side. The route has not yet been planned, but Arellano said he is exploring where in the state he should dispatch it with the hashtag #TrumpTweetTruck.

The GoFundMe page for this, which is where the embedded image originates, raised more than it asked for and is no longer accepting donations. (Do feel free to give any money you had in mind for this to some candidates.) My guess is that they’ll pick a route once Trump picks a stadium for his pro-Cruz rally, but I’m sure wherever this goes, plenty of people will enjoy seeing it. I look forward to about a million pictures of it on Facebook and Twitter. ThinkProgress and Mother Jones have more.

This will backfire spectacularly with Manny’s ‘Spanish surname’ folks who vote based on what name sounds more Mexican, and also with the low information voters who have been inculcated with, “Orange Man bad.” They will see quotes of the big orange meanie beating up on a fellow Hispanic, and want to vote for Cruz. I love it.

Meanwhile, among America loving populists, we celebrate the Ted Cruz redemption arc. Ted bent the knee and is fully on board with America First. Cruz will lose no votes because of a billboard. These will only HELP Cruz by making him appear sympathetic to people who hate the President.

  2. Flypusher says:

Whatever Bill is smoking, that’s some pretty potent shit.

  3. Manny Barrera says:

Bill I don’t expect a tsunami of Spanish surname folks to come out and vote, an increase yes and they will know the difference.

The white educated voters will make the difference and they want a check on Trump, not a lap dog like Cruz.

Maybe Cruz will place and ad with wearing his old paisley bath robe as he meandered in the girl’s floor, They all thought he was a creep, he still is.

How about his latest ad, https://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/ted-cruz-beto-orourke-f-bombs_us_5b8db48be4b0511db3db34db

Notice I said educated whites, that leaves out people like you Bill.

Latest poll as to Trump https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/poll-democrats-regain-clear-advantage-in-midterms-shaping-up-as-referendum-on-president-trump/2018/09/03/b47be106-aefe-11e8-a20b-5f4f84429666_story.html?utm_term=.5a27c9b32e02

I think Beto will win, but in probability the house will change and by the end of the year at least one Trump will be indicted.

  4. Manny Barrera says:

Cruz bowed to the king, Fly said it very well. Bill have you licked your masters boots lately?

  5. Greg Wythe says:

Maybe instead of “low information voters”, we should be more worried about “high imagination voters” like Bill. 😉

  6. voter_worker says:

Bill loves someone who kowtows, many of us do not. I think this will put Cruz even more on the defensive.

  7. Bill Daniels says:

I love you guys, really. Hey, here’s another tweet for y’all’s billboards! Look, it’s the Iranian leader backing Beto’s position on the kneelers!

    https://i.redd.it/eqhat5whz9k11.jpg

    Texas values, indeed.

  8. Flypusher says:

    Deflector shields on maximum!

Dude is trolling you, and you’re swallowing it hook, line, and dunker.

  9. Flypusher says:

I know it’s a real tweet. He also tweeted about Serena Williams. Going to blame her for that?

You Trumpkins are so irony impaired.

  10. Bill Daniels says:

Irony? How about putting some pictures on those billboards. Here are actual photos of one of the Kavanaugh protestors GETTING PAID. There were 3 doctors in line that saw people being paid, and one of them actually got a picture of the payoff happening. Behold:

    http://magaimg.net/img/639s.png

  11. Flypusher says:

Deflect, deflect, deflect. You fail to tie Beto to Ahmadinejad, so now you yell squirrel! Paid protestors!

Given how you constantly omit inconvenient facts, I have a strong suspicion that you’re not telling the whole story here.

  12. Manny Barrera says:

Bill you know that the Republicans/Trump were behind the paying the woman so they could post that. Think on that they were there to take a photo of the payoff and they were there when she was being escorted out.

Republicans are Crooks, Liars, and Corrupt oh my!

  13. Bill Daniels says:

Nice try, Manny. Bob Creamer is on tape saying they do this EXACT thing.

This was no false flag, this was coordination, just like the out of order Dems screaming during the chairman’s opening.

    Own it.

  14. C.L. says:

@Bill and @Manny…. ‘Astroturfing’ is nothing new, for either said of any debate these days.

  15. Flypusher says:

You harp on the mote of Dems being “out of order” and ignore the beam of denying Merrick Garland the hearing and the vote he deserved.

Never forget that what goes around comes around.

  16. Jules says:

The Republicans did not pay anyone to protest during Garland’s hearings. We did not hear one word about disrespectful Republican Senators during Garland’s hearings. This hearing should be just like Garland’s!

  17. Manny Barrera says:

Bill what is it with you and lies, you are pathetic.

I had no idea who Creamer was and did some research, he did not admit that is what they do. You are as great a liar as the man who you kneel to.

But I will tell you who had paid actors and that was your man god who you pray to. He paid people to be there when he announced he was running.

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-fix/wp/2017/01/20/even-the-firm-that-hired-actors-to-cheer-trumps-campaign-launch-had-to-wait-to-be-paid/?utm_term=.a16630671c51

  18. Bill Daniels says:

    Manny,

With regard to Creamer and Foval, don’t take my word for it, read about it:

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/post-politics/wp/2016/10/19/two-democratic-operatives-lose-jobs-after-james-okeefe-sting/?utm_term=.12fdec14f08d

“The result of all that was that the “Rigging the Election” videos got a skeptical reception — at first. But the video of Foval, a Wisconsin-based politico with a long rĂ©sumĂ©, had him bragging about a litany of political dirty tricks. In the first video, he boasts of “conflict engagement in the lines of Trump rallies,” takes credit for the violence that canceled a Trump rally at the University of Illinois at Chicago, admits he has paid “mentally ill” people to start trouble and says there’s a “Pony Express” that keeps Democratic operatives in touch, regardless of whether they work for super PACs or the campaigns not permitted to coordinate with super PACs.

In the second video, Foval spends five minutes discussing how voters might be brought from outside Wisconsin to commit voter fraud, buying cars with Wisconsin plates to avoid looking suspicious. “We’ve been busing people in to deal with you f—ing a–holes for 50 years, and we’re not going to stop now,” he says.”

With regard to your article, papering the audience isn’t exactly a new thing. I used to have a friend who worked for SPA, and another for HGO who used to get me tickets to all kinds of shows that weren’t selling particularly well. I got the value of the tickets, but the bargain made was that I’d show up and fill a seat, not show up and be disruptive. 70 people arrested on day one, I didn’t see a total arrested for today. It’s pathetic, you guys are paying people to get arrested. Look around, this is the Trump economy. Those people could get straight jobs, but the Dems want to encourage them in a life of crime.

  19. Bill Daniels says:

Oh, lookie, here’s the guy actually paying off the protestors at the Kavanaugh hearings:

  20. Manny Barrera says:

    Link to guy not available.

They fired the guy, Foval, and Creamer stated we don’t allow that.

But you did not mention Foval at first you said Creamer, so you lie Bill, and you keep lying, what is it with you people.

Paid actors if your master does is okay, but if someone else does it is not?

    Your people Bill are pathetic.

  21. Manny Barrera says:

Since all the freaks believe that God sends us signs, he sent a big one. Lighting struck the White House as Trump was attempting to discredit the Op-Ed Piece in the New York Times.
Better watch out Bill, God is warning us.
