We conclude this interview cycle with a familiar name in Houston politics. Jew Don Boney, who is running for the open HCC District IV seat, was the Council member in District D from 1995 to 2001; he was my Council member until I moved to the Heights in 1997. He is currently the Associate Director of the Mickey Leland Center on World Hunger and Peace at Texas Southern University. He is also an international trade facilitator and community activist.
