I trust we’re all familiar with that song, even if we’ve never seen “The Graduate”. Here’s the Lemonheads version:
Now if you’re like me you’re thinking “Song #67? But last week was song #69. What happened to song #68?” And the answer appears to be…there is no Song #68. They somehow missed that number in the enumeration, meaning that the Popdose Top 100 Covers list has only 99 songs on it. Oops! As for the Lemonheads cover, I believe I’ve heard it on the radio once or twice. It’s not bad, but this is one of those songs where it’s hard to top the original in my mind.
