Song #59 on the Popdose Top 100 Covers list is “The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face”, by Peggy Seeger and covered by Roberta Flack. Here’s the original:

Another original I can’t say I’m familiar with. It’s OK, but not really to my taste. Here’s the Roberta Flack cover:

I daresay this is what most people are familiar with. Not my favorite song in the world – I don’t dislike it, it’s just kind of “meh” to me – but I love Roberta Flack’s voice. What do you think?
