Where they come from

In case you’re wondering what Ann Coulter might have been like in college, here’s a taste. Of the many sad things about this person, I think the saddest is that she’s an English major. But hey, she’s kinda cute and she’s not deterred by the finer points of logic, so look for her on Fox News any day now.

BTW, Alex, I can just about guarantee that you were a better writer than that when you were in college.

It’s funny, I didn’t even have to get past the first sentence (much less to my name) to figure out to what article you were referring.

Definitely, cute, though (and that’s not something I’d say about creepy Coulter).

As for my college columns, they were boringly logical and structural in nature. No pazzaz like Miss Weaver. Maybe if I’d majored in English instead of IT…

  2. Priceless. It’s always sad to see an English major write an essay like this. She doesn’t bother to prove a point or support her positions. My theory is that she was either under academic pressure with finals or else that she intends to apply for a staff position at the Mallard Fillmore Institute.

    Michael,
Art major is to Art History major as
Composition and Rhetoric major is to Literature major

As a former English prof, I’ve seen a lot of this sort of thing. Imagine reading 50 or 60 of these babies every two to three weeks…ugh.
