We move on to District 4, which is being vacated by incumbent Paula Harris. I trust that Jolanda Jones is a familiar name to everyone reading this. Attorney, activist, former Alief Elsik and UH track star, Olympic trials qualifier, Survivor contestant, and two-term At Large City Council member, Jones is a well-known figure in Houston. Jones also has a compelling personal story of overcoming poverty and tragedy to be a success, and she has always been a voice for the underdog. Houstonians , their are 2400 taxi medallions in houston , 1900 owned by one man and sylvester turner is opening up his campaign accounts to accept max amounts of campaign contributions which are currently being looked at by the parker administration as possible right to labor fees and may be abolished .when a person in houston can collect revenue with out a penny of investment and force these payments using tax payer dollars and then give these monies to candidate sylvester turner this is just wrong ,join me as a citizen in houston to encourage both parker under executive seal to abolish taxi permit limits in houston and get sylvester turner to return the right to labor fees he has accepted from houstons majority medallion holder.because in houston , no person should have to pay for the right to work,joshua bullard hashtag everywhere.
