We continue with Mayoral candidate interviews. There are many candidates running for Mayor of Houston this year, but only one who has actually been a Mayor before – Bill King, who served two terms as Mayor of Kemah. King is a businessman and attorney, most recently serving as managing partner of Linebarger Goggan Blair & Sampson, a law firm representing local governmental entities nationwide. He has served on the Houston-Galveston Area Council’s Hurricane Evacuation Task Force and on gubernatorial commissions in the aftermath of Hurricanes Rita and Ike, and co-chaired the 2012 HISD bond campaign. King is also a published author and former columnist for the Houston Chronicle. Here’s what we talked about:
