And we come to my final interview of the 2015 cycle. I would have published an interview with Jew Don Boney earlier, but schedule conflicts happen, so here we are now. A longtime community activist, Boney served as an aide in the Texas Legislature and the US Congress before serving three terms as Council Member in District D, which included a stint as Mayor Pro Tem under Bob Lanier. He was subsequently appointed Associate Director of the Mickey Leland Center on World Hunger and Peace at Texas Southern University, where he oversaw the restoration and digitization of the Leland archives.
