Tom Spencer is hanging up his cleats, citing a need to spend more time on more important activities. Among other sad things, this reduces the number of Trinity bloggers that I know of to just me. Mazel tov and vaya con Dios, Tom.

    Trinity? I thought you were an Owl, Charlie.

    Anyway, I have a lot of respect for Trinity – It’s the second best Presbyterian College in the state – and maybe someday they’ll be able to swim in the deep end of the academic pool with the best.

    Trinity is my alma mater. I attended Rice as a grad student. And I’ll refrain from commenting on a school whose nickname is “The Kangaroos”. 🙂

    It could be worse. Don’t forget that Stuyvesant High School’s nickname is “The Peglegs”. 🙂
